Named 'A' ,who said, there are different interpretations of Islam , but there is only one Qur'an and it sais if a woman is married her husbnd needs to tell her to hide her beauty because it would be inapropriate to flaunt with, but if the woman refuses to abide or listen . .. it's her choice and hers alone .. then the man has done his duty and whatever happens after is entirely her own choice. For the matter of staying true to his intentions by explaining , he added after that the man has no right what so ever to correct her weither with words or physical means.
I felt ... good .. afte hearing that, and even offered to go to the hallal butcher to get cow meat if he wanted to eat anything else then vegetarian food.

About the Qur'an, even though i was pretty sure to find something violent, i had to do a small research on the matter. The results were pretty interesting.
"And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out" (Qur'an 002.191 )
Qur'an (3:151) - "Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority".
This speaks directly of polytheists, but careful, it also includes Christians, since they believe in the Trinity.
Qur'an (4:95) - "Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home).
